Convict Creek- near Mammoth Lakes

Description: Close to Convict Lake, both provide good trout fishing. Camp at Convict Lake. Rainbows planted weekly spring thru fall by DFG, supplemented by resort owner stocks. The prime fishing is downstream from the campground, where most of the stocking takes place. Those more interested in larger brown trout will fish just below the dam.

Location: From Hwy. 395 five miles south of Mammoth Junction turn west on Convict Lake Road and drive about 2 miles to the lake and creek.
