Deadman Creek- near Mammoth Lakes

Description: A small stream with stocked rainbow trout near Glass Creek and the other Mammoth area rivers and lakes.

Location: Take Hwy. 395 6.5 miles south of June Lake Junction to Deadman Creek Road, turn west and drive 2 miles to the campground.

Camping: Big Springs Campground: 26 sites for tents or RV's to 40 feet. Picnic tables, fire grills and pit toilets. No drinking water. Reservations not accepted. Open late April thru early November, weather permitting. Deadman Campground: 30 sites for tents or RV's to 30 feet. Picnic tables, fire grills and pit toilets. No drinking water. Reservations not accepted. Open late May thru early November, weather permitting.
