Reversed Creek- on June Lake Loop

Description: Across the road from Gull Lake in the June Lakes Loop. Fish for native trout. Stocked with rainbows before season opener and before holidays. The name is appropriate; the stream runs toward the nearby mountains, not away from them.

Location: From Hwy. 395 at June Lake Junction turn south on Hwy. 158 and drive past Gull Lake to the Reversed Creek Campground.

Camping: Reversed Creek Campground: Set at 7,600 feet. 17 sites for tents or RV's to 30 feet. Picnic tables, fire grills, drinking water and flush toilets. Some sites with wheelchair access. Reservations not accepted. Open mid-May thru October, weather permitting. Numerous campsites, not to mention resorts, are available on the lakes on the June Lake Loop.
