Middle Fork- San Joaquin River- near Mammoth Lakes

Description: Camp at Agnew Meadows, Pumice Flat, Upper Soda Springs (fish stocked here), Minaret Falls, Red's Meadow. Fish upstream of Soda Springs to Shadow Creek. Popular with fly fishermen with a catch-and-release mentality. Access is very late-season, depending on the snowfall; July is common.

Location: From Hwy. 395 at Mammoth Junction turn west on Hwy. 203 to Lake Mary Road. Turn right and drive thru Minaret Station about 2.5 miles to Agnews Meadow Campground.
