Rivers- Highway 108 Corridor

Stanislaus River- West & South Fork

Description: Fish for stocked rainbow trout in stretches where vehicles have access and native trout elsewhere. The West Fork is nearby.

Camping: Frazer Flat Campground off Hwy. 108 near Strawberry in the Stanislaus National Forest. 38 sites for tents or RV's to 30 feet. Picnic tables, fire grills, drinking water and pit toilets. Some sites with wheelchair access. No reservations. Open May thru October, weather permitting.

Directions: From Sonora drive east on Hwy. 108 past Long Barn 6 miles to Spring Gap Road/Forest Road 4N01,turn left and drive 3 miles to the campground.
